Terrible Heuristics.
Flags many users comments as spam when they simply aren't. Which means their vaunted pre-screening is worthless and everything has to be manually moderated.

I've seen this artist's website a few days ago, there was nothing on the post with this picture that said it had been commissioned. Read the authors short stories as well, only one that was any good was a short work called Shark with Wings towards the end of the book.
Aside from that, the book is a flop and a total waste of money. Got mine out of a donation bin from goodwill.

Allowance of racial derogatory comments on the site
There is an individual (GeneralWeiner) who comments every day and refers to blacks as "purple monkeys" and wishes them dead due to police violence. Freedom of speech is one thing but this individual calls for the harm and death of a group on a public setting. I sent a complaint to the customer service site but there appears to be no change as the individual continues to comment.

Not able to post because labelled as spam! Ridiculous!
I have had a disqus account for years; and for the past year have been unable to use it - every time I try, absolutely EVERY post I do gets automatically labeled as 'pending' and then 'spam'. I've seen where others have complained about this. I think you are taking 'flagging' by others - especially trolls - WAY to seriously! I want my account back and working RIGHT!!

Unresponsive in fact hostile to to users
I have a Disqus account I have it fr years suddenly EVERY comment I make across all venuse is marked spam the moment I post. I asked for help and told me to write to monarator of EVERY venue I post on. I did and got only one response. It is a disqus problem. Now they will not even let me post on their forums. I'm not the only person making this complaint, a lot of people are complaining but so far not a peep from Disqus

Reading these comments I tried looking for the website of the users you and others have mentioned. From what I can see online the webpage has been left to expire and is no longer active.
Be vigilant though, trolls such as this typically come back under different names and create new pages to harass potential customers. Should this happen please be sure to let admins know about them so they can be black listed.

I used biologically correct terms in a post. It wasn't vulgar, it wasn't derogatory, and it wasn't offensive. They use these words on CNN every day. The moderators obviously have an agenda and cannot be trusted to do their job very well. Somebody down there needs to figure out what's going on because it's turned into a nothing but a big troll farm outlet. It's basically useless.

Disqus' Answer Appears to be 'Just Ignore'
Im not sure what happened. Disqus denies my login to any site that uses them for security.. but ONLY from THIS computer. Using ANY other computer, I CAN login to ALL those sites, using the same information that I use when Disqus denies me from THIS computer. It seems obvious that Disqus has placed some type of cookie/cookies on my personal computer, however, they will not engage in dialog with me on how to un-install whatever it is they placed into my computer that triggers a denial to login and comment. If Disqus pops a window up for me to login with Google and I click on it, the window semi-freezes with a flickering address bar.

When I try to edit that email account, you don't accept it. Worse, you won't allow me to delete that account and start a fresh one with my "actual" email for verification. You've found a means to "censor" an American voice. I know you are Chinese-owned and that you are keeping me from commenting on Chinese forums, such as Global Times and the People's Daily.
Are you representing America, or are you an arm of the Red Communists who are using this format to deny Americans free expression? I believe Trump and Congress need to investigate exactly who controls Disqus and what parameters are used to covertly deny Westerners free expression. After all, you've infiltrated almost every site where comments are invited, and we have no choice but to use Disqus. I require you to let me back on Disqus by changing my email account to the one you have here, right now, this account: lachance_john@***.com.

I'm sending a copy of this email to my senator in congress, Nancy Pelosi, and asking for help in resolving this issue, as well as suggesting if Disqus is controlled by Beijing. John LaChance

I can't post anything, because DISQUS insists on sending verification emails to an email I don't own and, consequently, can't use to verify my identity. Plus, DISQUS won't let me delete that account so that I can start one with my actual email address. They're *** with lots of people this way, keeping us from commenting on all sites. In essence, they've taken away our FREE EXPRESSION! I know they're a Chinese company (at least, owned by a Chinese guy with roots in Red China) and that they are using this means of silencing Westerners. ID

Sounds to me like we need to somehow start contacting each other, and have a class-action lawsuit against those *** I had never even heard of them before Oct 2018.

They blanketly and mistakenly blocked all my accounts
Over the last few weeks, seed oday and some pigs at disqus- flat out refuse to refuse my accounts on sites I had just joined, have made quality posts on, do not cause any controversy on- and for no reason? have labled my postings as "low quality" for NO reason. Ive been in contact with sire moderators of two sites in particular who keep reopening my accounts daily, but disqus keeps shutting them down daily. That folks- is some companies squelching my 1st amendment rights. They are NOT supposed to be a moderating site- so iv'e not a clue what those *** are there for EXCEPT to block the postings of Conservatives. My patience with them has clearly ended. Those punks have no clear way to be contacted- that folks- is VERY fishy in itself. I had stumbled onto a way to send a message to one of the bastards last Fri or Sat and their " message" said being it was the weekend, they would reply monday. Well, its Friday and no reply. All my contact info was included. The punk I send the message to- strangely enough looks like mark suckerberg. That company disqus- sucks to say the least and so does their *** sucking seed oday.
